The Connection Point Services Solution

Connection Point Services was developed as a way for ISPs and corporations to easily keep their users aware of their online presence and to provide access numbers, thereby dramatically reducing the need for technical support staff.

Connection Point Services has two components:

• Phone Book Service. A Windows NT service that compares users’ connection configuration with the most recent files available and downloads the appropriate phone book updates.
  
  
• Phone Book Administrator. A tool that updates the phone book database and posts new phone book information to Phone Book Service.
