Software Requirements

The software requirements for each computer are as follows:

Connection Manager

Connection Manager can run on any of the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows® 95
Windows NT Workstation® version 4.0
Windows NT Server® version 4.0

Phone Book Administrator

Phone Book Administrator can run on any of the following operating systems:

Windows NT Workstation version 4.0
Windows NT Server version 4.0

Phone Book Service

The Phone Book Service platform includes the following components:

Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0 with Service Pack 3 (Windows NT® file system recommended)
Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 3.0 or later
Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) version 3.0 (included in Phone Book Service Setup)

Note

To ensure that you have the correct service pack installed, open the Windows NT Control Panel and click About Windows NT on the Help menu. The version information in the dialog should indicate version 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or later.
