Performance Monitor Counters

Performance Monitor keeps track of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) as used by the WWW service and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) service. Counters in Performance Monitor produce statistical information on the processor, memory, cache, network, and other object types. Phone Book Service relies on the counters for WWW services. For more information about performance counters, see the Windows NT Resource Kit.
