The minimum IAS platform configuration consists of IAS running on a Windows NT 4.0 platform, with a user database implemented as a Windows NT Domain Controller. The following diagram illustrates the minimum configuration required to connect from a subscriber’s machine to an IAS server equipped with an authentication database.
