Monitoring Internet Authentication Services

Use the Microsoft Management Console component of Internet Information Server to monitor the status of IAS.

To monitor IAS with Microsoft Management Console

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack, and then click Microsoft Internet Information Server.
   
   
2. Click Internet Service Manager. The system displays the Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
   
   
3. 4. In the left pane, double-click Console Root. The tree expands and displays the IIS folder.
   
   
4. Double-click IIS. The tree expands and shows the name of your computer.
   
   
5. Click your computer name. The right pane displays RADIUS under the Description column, and displays either Running or Stopped under the State column.
