Internet Connection Services for RAS

IAS is one of the components of Internet Connection Services for Microsoft® Remote Access Service (RAS). Internet Connection Services for RAS includes:

Internet Authentication Services (IAS). Provides authentication and authorization for roaming or telecommuting employees who seek access to their corporate network..
Connection Point Services. Comprised of Phone Book Service and Phone Book Administrator. Connection Point Services automates the process of updating subscribers’ computers with new access numbers and service types.
Connection Manager Administration Kit (CMAK). CMAK includes a dialer and provides a wizard for creating customized versions of Microsoft® Connection Manager® for your clients who use Microsoft® Windows NT® version 4.0 and Microsoft® Windows® 95.

The commercial edition of Internet Authentication Services will include proxy capability.
