  • Update LCD configuration file
  • Miscellaneous enhancements

Known Limitations

  • TrueSTUDIO project is not provided
  • The following issue is detected when using EWARM V7.30, however it's not present when using EWARM V7.10, it will be fixed in next release:
    • The Demo is blocked when plugging a uSD card on running mode
  • MB1063 demonstration: flicker effect of the camera capture due to multiple access to the SDRAM

V1.2.0 / 26-December-2014

Main Changes

  • Update following changes in latest version of HAL and Middlewares
  • Remove Camera STANDBY pin set and reset from camera_app.c, since this is already done in STM324x9I_EVAL BSP driver (i.e. in stm324x9i_eval_camera.c; where the Initialization and Stop APIs are updated to set and reset the STANDBY pin, to avoid conflict with SDCard detect pin)
  • Force initialization of all PPP Init structure's field before calling HAL_PPP_Init() API
  • Remove vbus_sensing_enable from USBH_LL_Init()
  • Miscellaneous enhancements
  • Validation using latest toolchains version: EWARM v7.30

Known Limitations

  • TrueSTUDIO project is not provided
  • The following issue is detected when using EWARM V7.30, however it's not present when using EWARM V7.10, it will be fixed in next release:
    • The Demo is blocked when plugging a uSD card on running mode

V1.1.0 / 26-June-2014

Main Changes

  • Common update
    • Update EWARM startup file to cope with compiler enhancement of the V7.x version
    • Update “stm32f4xx_hal_conf.h” to be in line with HAL V1.1.0: add new defines LSI_VALUE, LSE_VALUE and TICK_INT_PRIORITY
    • Update “stm32f4xx_it.c” : add the include of “main.h” before the “stm32f4xx_it.h”, in order to provide access to CMSIS device file via “stm32f4xx_hal.h”
    • Update to support the new STemWin version V5.24b
    • Miscellaneous source code comments update
  • Camera Module update
    • Add an update in kernel files to manage shared pins between the SDCard and the camera module, with this implementation the behavior is as following :
      • When camera module is plugged, the SDCard is not initialized and not detected by the “addfolder” and “addfile” of the video, audio, imagebrowser and filebrowser modules.
      • When the camera module is not plugged, the SDCard is initialized and detected.
    • Update the resolution of captured image with STM32439I-EVAL2 to 320x240 and keep the same BMP buffer size to fix the issue of picture not displayed on STM32439I-EVAL1(4.3" LCD) when it’s captured with STM32439I-EVAL2(5.7" LCD)
  • Storage module update
    • Add an update in the kernel module files to manage shared pins between the SDCard and the camera
    • Customize the default SD_diskio driver and remove it from the project while a new file  “k_SD_diskio.c” is created in user folder, this implementation is done fix the issue on IO operation interruption by RTOS scheduler which could lead to overrun condition and as consequence the SDCard contents is not always displayed
  • General use update
    • Update all demonstration menus to facilitate the touch with finger (e.g the 'X' icon in the title bar is small and not easy to touch generally)
    • Fine tune the pixel clock of 5.7" LCD screen to 21.25MHz to avoid the flicker effect
    • Remove the calibration screen for capacitive touch panel on 5.7” LCD
  • Audio module update
    • Add new enhancement to support audio files w/ the extension .WAV (with upper case)
    • Update state machine of speaker to fix the problem detected when the speaker is OFF and a touch of volume slider is applied, the volume is ON but the speaker icon still in off mode
  • Image Viewer and Camera modules update
    • Add new enhancement to support files with extension “JPG”, “BMP” and “EMF (with upper case)

Known Limitations
