The cartridge is compatible with all MSX computers from MSX1 to TurboR. In order for the cartridge to work properly on the Arabic and Korean MSX systems, the special version of the boot block and directory editing utilities are required.

PRODUCT INFO

Built around a Cyclone II FPGA from Altera, the Carnivore2 its a powerful piece of hardware packed with many features: FlashROM, Compact Flash storage interface (w/Nextor ROM on-board), 1MB RAM mapper, 720KB MegaRAM, SCC, SCC+, FMPAC (w/ MSX Music ROM on-board and backup RAM support) and PSG.

You can enable or disable one and each of these functions independently and combine them at will with the configuration software.

Cartridge configurations can be stored in the flash memory and then loaded from the boot menu. From this menu you can also choose any of the ROMs written into the cartridge's flash chip.

The cartridge comes with Nextor DOS ROM. This is available when the CF (IDE) function is enabled. Nextor is 100% compatible with MSXDOS2 and adds many powerfull features as native FAT16 support, virtual floppy
disk through .dsk mounting, etc...

At the moment, this cartridge is the most convenient and compact device that provides all the necessary functionality.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

In order to receive a replacement or refund, the defective cartridge must be returned first. After the cartridge has been checked and we do not find any signs of violation of the warranty, we will proceed to replace the device or refund the payment. In case of loss of warranty, all operations, including cartridge repair, are paid.

The warranty is lost:
1.after opening the cartridge
2.with mechanical damage
3. other damage as a result of careless / improper use or modification, including software.
After loss of warranty, cartridges are not eligible for replacement or refund of any kind.

Please note: if you accidentally delete the BIOS of the cartridge, we will not provide technical support during the flashing process, since after opening the cartridge, the warranty will void. If you would like your cartridge to remain under warranty, please send it to us for reflashing. There is a charge for the firmware update procedure. Shipping costs are not refundable.

The cartridge is assembled from high-quality components and, if properly operated, will work for many years and delight you.
