VAXMUF is a multi-user roguelike role-playing game for VAX/VMS developed back in 1989 by two denizens of Strathclyde University. The game consisted of adventurers roaming around the VAXMUF dungeons collecting treasure, trading, and killing other adventurers, thus gaining points and experience which in turn gained access to magical spells. The MUF part of the VAXMUF acronym stood for "Multi-User-Fight", which was something you would soon find yourself involved in, whether willingly or not ;-)
This video is just a simulated recreation of a single player running around the map. It's been many years since I had access to a real VAX to play the full game.
